RNA Sequencing

Our goal as a sequencing provider is to tailor existing technologies and sample preparation methods to better accommodate small genomes. By focusing our offerings on only the most highly demanded services, we are able to consistently provide a combination of price and turnaround time that is unmatched. All prices are fully inclusive of library prep, sequencing and data distribution.

rRNA Depletion Sequencing

Our lab utilizes Illumina Stranded RNA library preparation with RiboZero Plus rRNA depletion to offer RNA Sequencing at a very economical pricepoint for a wide range of organisms from bacteria to yeast to human.  We operate a dedicated RNA Sequencing pipeline that provides a minimum of 12M, 25M or 50M PE reads (2x51bp).

We are unable to guarantee the compatibility of Illumina's RiboZero Plus module with all organisms. However, if you are interested in supplementing the modules with probes designed specifically for your organism, please contact us at info@migscenter.com for additional information.

mRNA Sequencing

Our lab utilizes Illumina Stranded mRNA library preparation with to provide an economical RNA sequencing option for organisms with a polyA-tailed RNA transcipts. This service is appropriate for most eukaryotic studies and provides a minimum of 25M or 50M PE reads (2x51bp).

RNA Sequencing Analysis

The following are available as standard add-on analysis packages to any RNA Seq data that is generated by MiGS. An assembled reference genome must be provided for analysis (.dna and .snap formats are not accepted)
