Our library preparation pipelines are very robust and can accomodate a wide range of sample qualities. Accordingly, MiGS will attempt to process all samples that are submitted. Any sample that does not produce a viable library will not be sequenced, but will incur a sample failure fee of $20 per sample. We ask that our customers pay close attention to the sample requirements as anything close to these values will result in a successful sequencing process.
MiGS guarantees data delivery within 15 days beginning the day of receipt of all parts of an order (sample, references and relevant info, and payment information) unless otherwise agreed upon. In the event that we are unable to do so, a 25% price reduction will be granted for any dataset that takes up to 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, there will be no charge.
Sample and Data Retention
MiGS will store all raw genomic samples at -20C for at least 3 months post-sequencing and data distribution. For samples submitted as pellets/plates for MiGS to extract, initial plates will be discarded after 1 week and the extracted DNA aliquot will be stored for at least 3 months.
The standard method of data distribution is through the cloud storage of Box.com. Data deposited there will remain indefinitely, subject to the limitations of Box.com policies. Additionally, all data will persist on MiGS servers for a time of no less than 1 year after distribution of results.
Payment Terms
Data will not be distributed until a valid method of payment has been secured. Purchase orders and requests to pay by credit card should be sent to info@migscenter.com.
MiGS operates on a Net 30 payment term unless otherwise noted by agreement.
Failure to make payment on invoice after 60 days of submission will incur a 5% late fee. This late fee increases to 10% after 120 days of non-payment.
